WHY ENTER THE TEIGNMOUTH PRO-AM

Our Pro-Am is a chance to experience golf at its most exciting, inspiring, and unforgettable. Whether you’re a seasoned club player or simply love the game, this is a day that elevates everything you enjoy about golf.

Play Side-by-Side With a Professional
How often do you get to share the fairways with someone who plays the game for a living? You’ll see first-hand how a pro thinks, prepares, and performs — a masterclass wrapped inside a round of golf.

Raise Your Game

There’s something special about competing alongside a professional.
You focus more. You commit more. You discover new gears in your own game.
It’s the kind of experience that stays with you long after the final putt drops.

A Great Social Day

Pro-Ams bring together golfers, sponsors, club partners, and friends of the club in a relaxed atmosphere.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces, and enjoy the shared buzz of tournament golf.
It’s competitive, but friendly. Serious, but fun.
A Premium Experience From Start to Finish

From the welcome gifts and practice facilities to the course setup and post-round hospitality, every detail is designed to make the day feel special.

You’ll walk away with memories, stories, and maybe even a trophy.

How do I team up with a professional?

If you know any professionals you can request them to play with your team (once you have checked with them first), otherwise the PGA will provide a professional for your team. These are selected from the 2026/27 West Region Order of Merit so you are sure to have one of the very best pros to play with.

THE COURSE

Teignmouth Golf Club is justifiably proud of its heritage. The course was designed by the legendary Dr Alister MacKenzie and opened in 1924, some 9 years before he completed his most famous work at the Augusta National, home of the US Masters.

Teignmouth’s course is situated near to the South Devon coast and, at 800 feet above sea level, it commands spectacular views of the sea and nearby moors.

The 18 hole moorland links presents a great test of golf for players of all abilities. Features include six varied and challenging par 3s and no fewer than 11 two-tier greens, a true MacKenzie trademark.
