Teignmouth Golf Club is a private members’ club, originally founded in 1924 and designed by the famous architect Dr Alister MacKenzie.
There are numerous reasons and benefits to join Teignmouth golf club as a member. As a 7 day member you can play as much golf as you want, when you want in our member only tee times weekdays and weekends, if you don’t have a handicap you can obtain one and play in our many competitions throughout the year, you get full use the facilities including a generous discount on food and drink behind the bar, you can bring your friends along to play with you and they receive a generous discount on their green fee, attend one of our many social events throughout the year including tribute act nights, quiz nights etc.
Becoming a member at Teignmouth GC is more than golf, it’s a lifestyle.

There are no restrictions on the use of any of the Club’s facilities. There are discounted rates available for members aged up to 40.
There are no restrictions on the use of the Club’s facilities but the member’s permanent residence must be at least 50 mile radius from Teignmouth Golf Club. If the member has a temporary or holiday home within 50 miles he or she may qualify as a Country member, with an entitlement of a maximum of 60 rounds per year.
Associate members pay a reduced membership, but pay a green fee each time they play.
There are no restrictions on the use of the Club’s facilities. Players are eligible to enter Club competitions, subject to handicap restrictions.
Not eligible to play the course or use the practice facilities but can enjoy the full range of services offered by the Clubhouse.
All members are issued with a swipe card which allows food and drinks to be purchased in the Clubhouse at a 20% discount.
UNION FEES
This charge covers member subscriptions to Devon Golf and England Golf.
INSURANCE
Each playing member is covered by a Club insurance policy to cover public liability and accidents. There is no additional charge for this but please note that this policy does not cover personal loss of equipment or theft. Full details of the cover provided is available on request from the Club’s office.
New Full Members are charged a joining fee.
Subscriptions can be paid monthly by standing order. There is a small administration charge for this service and full details are available on request.
At Teignmouth golf club we have highly qualified PGA professional coaches and excellent teaching facilities, including Trackman swing analysis technology to help you improve every aspect of your game. The club has comprehensive practice facilities, including a practice ground, putting green, short game areas, indoor and outdoor nets ideal for honing your skills.
