Great views pretty much all the way around, a good welcome in the pro shop and - despite recent work on the greens (which rolled really well) - the course was in lovely condition. I visited half a dozen bunkers and was pleasantly surprised to find them all pretty much the same in terms of volume of sand etc. I haven’t come across many courses where that holds true. So all in all, a great experience. I’ll be back again soon.

One of my favourite golf courses in Devon. The first is a fairly straightforward par 5 although requires a good strike off the tee given the way it slopes right to left, make sure you stay right! Greens are generally in great condition and run fast. Only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is it's so hit and miss whether the course is actually open given its closed due to fog a fair bit!

The golf shop member of staff was very helpful and accommodating, especially as I was running late due to traffic. Helped sort out a new tee time that worked for everyone. As it was my first time, member of staff discussed the course layout and where to find the tees etc. Very nice gentlemen and really made me feel welcome as a visitor, I will be coming again!

Everything was good. I was on holiday and just driving around the area. My round was arranged at very short notice . I enjoyed it . The bar and food was good also. Friendly staff everywhere . Unfortunately I won't be around in the next month but I may come again later in the year. I see what you say about the voucher . Perhaps you could give the ladies who followed me around the course the drink, with my compliments

Made to feel very welcome by the pro shop and also the bar. Course was in very good condition and we enjoyed our golf. Would certainly return/recommend your club without hesitation.

We had a great reception from all. The dining room when we arrived for breakfast and the service was great they took time to interact and discuss the course with us as visitors, the pro shop were also great explaining the course tees and distances etc. Overall we had a great visit

Good Morning, I played with the St Mellion Fossils against your Seniors yesterday. I personally was overwhelmed with the great condition of the course and the presentation. From the moment I stepped into the main entrance the establishment oozed quality. Friendly welcome from the bar and catering staff, i enjoyed a perfect sausage and egg bap and coffee, Roger and the young lady were terrific , and the lasagne and crumble 2 course meal was beautiful presented and delicious. It was such a treat for me having not visited the club for over 15 years. I intend to visit again very soon and will bring others with me. Our captain of the day extending his thanks in a speech which sometimes doesn't get heard by staff, so please pass my personal thanks back to everyone. One very happy visitor/customer.

Played a foursome, all of us at the course for the first time and we all were very impressed with how well the course has been maintained. We’ll definitely be back. We did want to go in the bar afterwards, but were turned away due to a private function.

Completing on behalf of Rupert as I’m his dad. What a fantastic experience all round! The green fee for junior golf is amazing; we paid £15 for the full 18 holes but only played 9 as it got a bit cold but, even so, great value for money! Everyone connected to the club we spoke with were so welcoming. The whole experience was brilliant. Thank you all. A great club!

As it was my first visit to the course and was given plenty of advise from the members during the round and everyone was very friendly. Will try and fit in another round before next Wednesday as my holiday is coming to and end
