Welcome to Teignmouth Golf Club, set high above the small seaside town of Teignmouth but within easy access from Exeter, Newton Abbot and Torquay from the A380/B3192.

 

Our exquisite dining room can cater for up to 120 guests with an adjacent dance area so whether you are looking for a small informal gathering or a formal dinner, we are confident that we can help with your arrangements and make your function a success.

 

The views from our clubhouse and grounds have to be the best in Devon with fantastic panoramic views of Dartmoor, the Teign estuary and towards Berry Head from our dining area, perfect for your Christmas Lunch.

 

Christmas Parties and Lunches 

Upon arrival be amazed at our stunning function suite decorated in a Christmas festive theme.

 

Enjoy a welcome drink served by our attentive staff, before being shown to your table to indulge in a beautiful 2 or 3 course meal prepared by our expert team of Chefs.

 

After dinner on our party nights be entertained by our resident DJ playing a mixture of modern and Christmas tunes to get everybody up and dancing.

SUNDAY CARVERY & CHRISTMAS LUNCHES

 

Come and enjoy your Christmas lunch in our warm and inviting clubhouse with stunning views over our outstanding golf course. 2 course Christmas lunches are available Monday to Friday throughout the festive period, subject to availability and cost just £27 per person, 3 courses £31 PP.

Christmas Sunday Carveries will be available throughout December.

Starters:

Confit chicken and pancetta terrine with sweetcorn puree and crostini

Hot and cold prawn cocktail with tempura of King prawn and sesame prawn toast

Roasted butternut soup with creme fraiche, nutmeg and sage oil

Wild mushroom and chestnut arancini with spiced tomato chutney

 

Mains:

Devon Turkey breast with sage, onion and apricot stuffing, pigs in blankets, goose fat roast potatoes and gravy

Topside of Devon beef with slow roasted shallots, truffle mashed potato and a red wine jus

Pan friend local cod fillet with root vegetable dauphinoise and a cockle, leek and white wine sauce

Beetroot and thyme tarte tatin with sauteed new potatoes and a warm goat’s cheese dressing

 

Desserts:

Traditional Christmas Pudding with brandy sauce

Lemon posset with cranberry compote and cinnamon shortbread

Belgian chocolate mousse with amaretti biscuit and cointreau cream

Selection of cheeses served with biscuits and a red onion chutney

  • My wife and myself would like to congratulate the club on what can only be said to have been a fantastic evening to celebrate our 50th anniversary it was faultless from the excellent food served by a well organised and friendly staff, Gina was very attentive to all our guests and us making our evening an overwhelming success.
